We have collated some of the most commonly asked questions with regards to web hosting.

Q: We want to move to Cocoonfxmedia, what info do I need to give you?

Answer:To make things simple and easy for you we just need access to your domain name so we can change the name servers and also access your existing website. We will do the rest.

Q: What about emails?

Email sometimes can be complex. If you’re using Office 365 it really simple as we can replicate the settings instantly and don’t need to do a thing. If your email is going through your existing web host, we need to know the size of the mailbox and also how many emails accounts you have. Depending on the size of the mailbox we can estimate the transfer time to our super hosting.

Q: My site currently says “Not Secure”. I have been told that this is bad?

Answer: This means you don’t have an SSL certificate. An SSL Certificate helps encrypt your website and also provides a level of trust and security to your website. Google unfortunately may show a warning if your site doesn’t have one. However, don’t worry you get a FREE SSL certificate with all our packages

Q: I have a custom website can you host this?

Answer: We first need to determine what the site is built in. If its PHP based then no problem we just need to determine the framework and then plan a migration. Custom websites can take a little longer to set up as we may need to do some configuration.

Q: I have a volume of traffic, Can your web hosting handle this?

Answer: YES! We can host any site with any volume of traffic. As our servers are cloud-based we can upscale capacity and resources accordingly. We can also use AWS servers if required. Our standard hosting can handle easily 10,000 visitors every day with ease.

Q: How quickly can I move to you?

Answer: Once we know what the site is built in (takes a few minutes) and how the email is configured. Once you’ve paid we will get you moved within a day if not quicker. The more complex sites can take a lot longer but we will always advise.
