Methodology

Cocooonfxmedia uses Prince2 Project Management methodology with is recognised internationally. Using this method we can properly manage the expectations of it clients.


Starting up a Project

For each customer we apply a project management approach to the build of a website or IT application. The first step in the process is to identify the client's project brief. To do this we need some understanding of their operating environment, target markets and business plans and strategies. Through the consultation period we can help develop a strategic project definition which will form the final Project Brief upon which the project is based.


Project Initiation

Once the Project Brief has been agreed we then agree the time scales, and set some stage boundaries and time lines for the project.

This ensures everyone has a shared vision of what the project should achieve and how we intend to achieve it.


Design /Implementation

This is where the project starts to take shape. Designs will be created to fulfil the requirements laid out in the previous two stages. The approved concept design will be compared against project brief. Agreed progress reports will be sent to the client to keep them updated on the progress of the project.


Initial Customer Review

We will work together with the client to review the solution and make sure it meets with the requirements laid out in the project brief.


User Acceptance Testing

Although testing is carried out at key stages throughout the Design / implementation stage, a final intensive stage of testing by the customer is required to add a further level of assurance. At this stage we review the design against the project brief.


Launch / Handover

Training and supporting documentation are provided prior to the launch and handover of the project. This ensures that the customer is confident and comfortable with the final design.


Project Evaluation

Cocoonfxmedia will review the project and will contact its customers on a regular basis to make sure the designs are still meeting expectations. We also review any lessons learn't so that we can improve our service.
